First Saturday of every month in 2019
Come celebrate neurodiversity!
The Ontario Science Centre is partnering up with Geneva Centre for Autism and others to offer sensory-friendly events and programming.
With a variety of communities in mind, Sensory-friendly Saturdays were developed to provide an environment that is inclusive, accessible and respectful. Open to everyone, the programming is appropriate for all ages and abilities.
Planetarium Open House 4–6 p.m.
Starry-eyed for outer space? Interact with one of our hosts in an open-format planetarium experience. Doors will be kept open to allow visitors to drop in and ask questions.
The Planetarium, Space Hall Level 4
Family Workshops 5–6 p.m.
Enjoy small group environments? Join a behaviour therapist from Geneva Centre for Autism in an interactive, sensory-based activity. Learn strategies to address sensory needs that may help your child participate in activities with others at school or in the community.

Community Safety (June 1)
Getting Ready for Back to School (July 6)
Building Routines (August 3)
Healthy Eating Habits (September 7)
Sharing (October 5)
Healthy Sleeping Habits (November 2)
Building Independence (December 7)
No registration required. Admission based on a first-come, first-served basis. Sessions occur on the first Saturday of every month in KidSpark.

Level 4
Programs are included in the regular price of admission or with an Ontario Science Centre membership.
Sensory-friendly IMAX® Film Screening
The final film of the day on Sensory-friendly Saturdays is presented in a lights-up, sound-down environment. Theatre doors remain open. Run time 40 minutes.
