I am emailing this to make you aware of the Connections for Students service that may be available to your family. Connections for Students is a service provided by the Ontario government, which assists with the transition of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders from the OAP (therapy environment) to school placement.
The goals of the Connections for Students program are to:
Make your child’s transition from the OAP to school as smooth as possible to ensure that your child’s school and teacher know about his or her skills and difficulties and about the teaching strategies that have helped him or her learnt in the OAP.
Make sure that your child maintains the gains that were made in the OAP.
Support continued learning of new and useful skills.
If you would like to access the Connections for Students services, we first need to determine if your child is eligible for the services.

Or
No, I do not give consent for Under the Umbrella Tree Educational Services to initiate the Connections for Students services for my son/daughter ________ (your child's name).
